I am two weeks away, from being two weeks away from Orangeburg. I get to head down to Venezuela to spend Christmas and New Years with my wonderful parents. This whole year has been a tough one. From my Mom discovering a lump in February, to being diagnose with breast cancer in March, to her first round of Chemo in June & July, to her surgery in August, and then starting on Chemo in September and going on it through November. Yeah it’s been a long, rough road. But it all pays off with my sister, niece, nephew, maw-maw and I getting to spend Christmas with her.
We are still short on the money we need for our bills while we’re gone, and our traveling expenses, pulling extra shifts has helped a bit, but not enough. We have been trusting God through this whole situation with my Mom, that it would be utter foolishness to not trust him with this.
Thank you to all who have been there for me, my mom, or any other family members through this time. Your prayer and positive outlooks have been so uplifting to us, and we would not be where we are today without you.
A few special friends have been there for me every step of the way. You know who you are, and I truly love you and am forever grateful.
If you would like to help us out financially, you can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or message me on Facebook and we will set it up.
But mainly, we need prayer. I believe that above all, prayer has the power to change everything. And we appreciate every prayer prayed for us.
