Lunacy / Movement

Let’s head out on an adventure, seriously let’s just leave everything behind, and start a new life. We will buy a cheap van, spray paint all over it, tear out a couple of the benches, throw in a bed, and travel state to state telling people about Jesus. I’ll bring a little box, and a megaphone, so I can do my poetry for whoever will hear it. And you can do whatever you’re good at. Singing? Drawing? Juggling? Imagine all of the stories we would have to tell our grandkids when we actually find someone, and settle down. Like “This one time our van got stuck in the snow, and we had to hitchhike in the snow for hours until we finally got some help.” Or ” We we’re doing a show at this park, and someone out of the kindness of their heart left 200 dollars in our hat.”

I want to have those stories. I’m tired of living a bland life. I was promised an awesome job, never got it. Because of waiting for that job, I have missed out on so much I could have done. It’s not too late.

God has big plans to use me. I just need to find a way to make it happen. I mean I know God is working out the big details, but I need to find people who will help me with the small details. Like backers. Maybe people who can’t go out physically, but could support me to go out. Like a missionary. But not abroad. To reach the hurting and the needy. In our own country. In our backyard. Who knows? It’s worth praying about.

Would you pray with me?

“Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are  just  a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.” James 4:14
