War, a word that when is thought of usually brings to mind famous incidents, such as; The World Wars, The Civil War, and even Iraq. But one thing every War has had in common is that it was full of people dying for their cause. For some it was their country, for others their beliefs, but everyone had a cause.
What is our cause? We were put in this world with one purpose Matthew 29:19-20 “Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you.” To many times we over look that verse, and it’s just not fair, it’s not fair to us, and it sure as hell exists isn’t fair to the people who are dying and going to hell because we had an opportunity to reach them, yet we over looked them to bring ourselves pleasure. We as believers are called to forcefully advance the kingdom of God. It’s time to get down and dirty, you may have someone in your path who you are suppose to reach, but if you don’t meet them where they are, you may miss the oppurtunity. That’s what is so beautiful about God’s grace, if he wanted us to meet him at his level, we would not be able to do it. He comes down to our level to love us and take care of us.
It’s time that we stand up for what we believe. Christians these days aren’t really christians at all, they may use that as a classification but when it comes down to it, they aren’t really standing up for what they believe. What Christ did on that cross was so powerful, and so amazing that we should want the whole world to know. Yes, we may be persecuted, but the bible says: “Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers” (1 John 3:16) If dying is what it takes, then we should Die. God will use us for his purpose, and if you aren’t willing to go in to the battlefield ready to bring back souls for him and possibly lose your life for the cause, then are you really a Follower of Jesus Christ?
